Literature Is For Everybody, Inc. (LIFE) is a non-profit 501(C)3 corporation which has provided free programs, services, and scholarships to promote literacy since 1989.
	Write Your Own Story Day - May 23 Carve out a piece of time to write your own story (fiction or autobiographical). Remember: literature is for everybody.
SCHOLARSHIPS LIFE awards scholarships to high school seniors based on their original short stories. Past recipients include Adam Gross, Jennifer Hull, Tiffany Jill Shulz, John Duncan, Wes Clifford, and Sara Hutchins.
	PIN THE TALE Working with children of all ages, LIFE interactively creates original short stories using characters and ideas generated by the group. A polished version of the story is then printed and distributed to each of the participants.
CREATIVE REALITY Working with people interested in improving their writing, LIFE provides free workshops that build skills at the same time that they build confidence.
	EDITORIALLY SPEAKING Working with people interested in publishing, LIFE provides free editing services as well as assistance and support through the often dismaying submission-rejection cycle.
COMPANY COMMUNICATIONS Working with small companies, LIFE provides free writing, editing, and proofreading services in order to raise the quality of writing that we encounter on a daily basis.
	BOOKSHELVES LIFE collects used books and redistributes them to needy families. Several hundred books were sent overseas to the men and women who served in the Gulf War.
